PR / PO / SES approval via Blackberry

Hi Experts,

We have SRM classic scenario.

The shopping cart is created, once its created, it is auto approved. PR gets created in backend R/3 system. And undergoes approval process via workflow (release strategy). The approval takes place by Lotus Notes email.

Once PR is fully apporved, PO is generated, which further goes through apporval via workflow (release strategy). The approval takes place by Lotus Notes email.

Further once PO approved completely, Confirmation takes place in SRM, gets automatically approved and replicated in R/3 as GR/SES. And further approved via Lotus Notes.(Single level approval)

Now the user wants to approve the PR/PO/SES via Blackberry as well.

Can you pls tell me how the PR/PO/SES approvals via Blackberry can also be integrated in existing scenario.

This is not a standard functionality and you need to contact SAP for routing approvals via mobile devises. For this you need to set up an additional adaptor. Check OSS note 1166763 u2013 Consulting service approval with mobile device for SAP.

Well currently we have all workflows(PR/PO/SES) in Backend R/3 system. And the approvals are done by users by Lotus Notes(LN).

So now if we consider the approvals by LN as well as Blackberry, can we achieve it with backend R/3 system alone? Or we have to involve SRM system as well.
