The PI Objects whereabout after activation

Hi All,

I am new to SAP PI 7.1 and i have few basic questions as

1. Once the PI objects are created and activated in ESR and ID, where exactly the object's information are stored in PI ? Are

they get stored in the file system OR database ?

2. When user tries to open the already created objects, how the objects information gets filled-in the integration builder (the

background activities) ?

3. At runtime, how the objects are accessed - Channel, Other ID objects and the ESR objects ?

I appreciate your reply, in this regard ?

Regards

Nagaraj

I dont think objects will be stored in File system, processed messages payload will be stored in data base, but not 100% sure about created objects.
