Hello,
We have netweaver 7.0 BI ABAP connected to EP 7.0
We have SSO configured using Logon Tickets.
One user is consistently getting the error - System received an Expired SSO ticket
He logged-off from portal and cleared his browser cache and cookies.
All other users can work fine.
The SSO tickets dont expire till 2028.
Can you help me with the solution for this one?
regards,
Gautam

Hi,
I am not sure what you mean by tickets don't expire till 2028. The ticket life is always limited. It can be controller in ABAP stack using parameter login/ticket_expiration_time. Check note 1257108 for standard ways how to troubleshoot SSO. Also check what's the password status of that user.
Cheers

The SSO certificate in VA says its valid till 2028.
login/ticket_expiration_time = 8.00
So the ticket is vald for 8 hours.
what's the password status of that user.
User is not locked and is within Validity date in ABAP

The best and most effective way to analyse such issues (problems to logon to ABAP systems) is described in SAP note 495911 (trace analysis). Maybe the system clocks (of Portal server and backend server) are out of sync; that however would effect all users (not just one).

Let the user try to delete expired certificate from the browser
Goto tools->internet options ->content->certificates-> delete existing expired certificate and let him retry

Found this Note -
Note 1480888 - SSO enabled logon causes repeated display of error message
Seems like a SAP GUI issue.
We will be upgrading the GUI soon.
