storage location not proposed in delivery

hi gurus...

i have two storage locations in my plant( PL1. PL2)... when i create delivery storage location not proposed, the storage location field is blank.. when select that storage location file they propose my two storage location , but that line item material was stored in PL1 ... can any one tell me the reason and give me the solution....

Hi Patchala,

As discussed above by experts,

1. Kindly check this transaction: OVL3 for Automatic Picking Location determination.

2. In delivery item category determination 0VLP, Check for 'Determine storage location'.

3. Rules for Picking location determination"

Path :Logistics execution - Shipping - picking-determine picking location-Define Rules for Picking location determination. (Maintain rule as MALA).

And in addition to it,

4. Also check in material master record - Plant Data / Stor. 1 tab, 01 is maintened in Storage conditions field.

Combination of Shipping Point, Plant and Storage Condition will determine relevant Storage Location.

Storage condition will be maintained in material master data

Hi Rao,

The storage location in delivery will appear only if you maintain it in sales order item details-shipping tab.

If you do not enter there it will not get copied.

You can also create storage location determination in OVL2. So when you create sales order storage location gets

automatically picked.
