Sap tcode VF01 take long time to response

Dear SAP Support

In our system SD module tocde VF01 takes long time to run for response. When we are monitored from tcode SM66 in that time period refer the SAP table VBFA. Also the data growth of this table is considerably high time to time. Now it reached near 5.3 million records.

SM66 display is as follows

Kindly provide some solution how reduced the response time for that tocde. Is it

Hi,

VBFA is SAP table for document flow, which normally is huge table in terms of data (similar to that of BSEG in finance)

As you have mentioned that is has considerable amount of data, one check point you can have is to check whether there is any user exit which has been implementated which is taking this extra time ?

Otherwise data archiving seems to the another option. It depends on how old is your system and related data. Also it has to be approved by your client.

I'm also basis team member. This issue has come from our SD users. When they run that VF01 tcode it takes long time to response. So When I'm checked from SM66 (global work process overview) for that work process refers VBFA. In this table has more records. so kindly provide how to resolve this problem
