Pricing Error: Mandatory Condition MWST is missing

Former Member

Hi,

I am trying to implement material determination in my project.

After following all the step:

1. Condition table

2. Access Sequence

3. Condition type

4. Maintain Procedure

5. Assign to Sales Order

6. Substitution reason : (Outcome marked as A)

7. Condition Record ( where material a1 is replaced by a2)

I have maintained all the pricing procedure for both the material (including mandatory Pr00 and MWST)

Now when i am creating sales order and entering A1 the material is replaced by A2 but it gives me the error saying

"Pricing Error: Mandatory Condition MWST is missing"

But when i change Outcome as blank in substitution reason then it shows no error.

Can somebody please explain me the behaviour. What am i doing wrong.

The requirement 2 in the pricing procedure checks for the value X in the 'Pricing' field of the Item Category.

Thanks for the all the solution. I have fixed the issue.

Scenario:

When we select outcome as substitution as A, the system changes item category of main item as tap and sub items as taps.

In Taps, its not relevant for pricing is checked. Hence when we create sales order for A1 the system changes it to A2 and its item category to Taps. but since it is not relevant for pricing and MWST being mandatory condition in pricing procedure, the error pops up.

Thanking everyone's support.

At what level the Condition Record for MWST is maintained ?

Kindly share the Item categories in both the cases.

Hi

This error is not related to material determination. Check in th material master, sales org1 view if the tax classification is maintained.

Yes it is maintained.

As i mentioned above if I change the outcome of substitution to blank and not A... everything works fine.

Also i have tried creating sales order for material a2 alone.. it works fine.

So it is related to substitution reason. but how is the question

Check in Analysis tab for what combination, UTXJ was flowing for blank and for what combination it was not flowing. It should have been different.

Go to VA02, key in that sale order if saved, and execute. If not, create a sale order and once you enter the material code and quantity, go to condition tab at item level where at the bottom screen, you can see a tab "Analysis". You have to compare for both the cases.

thanks

thanks for the details.

I checked it says requirement 002 for pr00 was not met.

But I cant Understand why.. Because there is no difference in the two materials. and ALSO THEY ARE item with pricing.
