How to reset SDM password?

Hi john,

SDM Password and Administrator password are same.

Login to the Portal:

Login to Portal Page => http://<severname>/irj/portal

Give username:administrator and password which u typed

=>under user management tab ->click on search user left pane -> search label followed by input field will be there ->give * in inputfield and click search button->

you can we view ALL users and roles etc.

select user administration by clicking on check box ->modify->reset the password->save properly ->login again give new password.

My Administrator and SDM has a separate password. I can changed my password within SDM tool. But if I forgot, the password and unable to login to SDM, I'm not sure how I can reset the password.

use the command like tool available to change to new password the documentation is available for the same under installation folder at C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC01\SDM\program\doc
