Dear Experts

Please provide your views for the following scenario:

My client is haivng a scenario to ship the goods from plant to port & from port to another port. Please let me know whether I can use the single main leg shipment document or I need to create prelimnary leg for plant to port & main leg for port to port.

In case of using main leg alone, please let me know how to capture the movement from plant to port?

Thanks in advance

Ganesh

First create the required Connection Points like Plant to Port, Port to Destination etc., in 0vtd

Next maintain the following in 0vtk

a) For the field ProcessControl, maintain 3 or 4

b) maintain 2 2: Prelim.leg per loading point, subsqnt leg per ship to party for the field Determine legs

thanks

Forget to mention the following:-

Next in 0vtc, select your Route for Exports and click on Route Stages. Press Cntrl plus F9 and create a new itinerary as follows:-

Itin::::Cat.:::Dep.point::Description:::Destination

::1::::::1::::::CHA:::::::::CHA::::::::::::CPR

::2::::::2::::::TCH:::::::::

::3::::::1::::::CPR:::::::::INTL.PORT

Here CPR, TCH & INTL.PORT are the one you have created in 0vtd

thanks

Hi Lakshmi

Thanks for the reply. If I maintain the provided settings, there is no need to create seperate shipment document for prelimnary leg. Am i right?

Thanks
