Shipping Processing time not considered for Delivery scheduling

Hello Experts,

For some reason the shipping processing time is not considered for delivery scheduling . I believe this is the time for preparing the shipment and we want to add 24 hrs in material master data to be able to calculate during delivery scheduling.

HI,

For delivery scheduling enter time

IMG >> SD >> Basic functions >> delivery scheduling and transportation >> maintain duration

Maintain here route, pick/pack & loading time

For in house production maintain time in material master in MRP view

Then now system will take in account what is production time + pick/pack + load time and then will schedule

Thanks for your response.Our Requirement is to add 1 day time in material master for calculating the PGI date/material available date in the Sales order. We want to control the shipment preparation time based on material master time.For example

When the sales order is created , the material available date is 6/24 , PGI date is 6/24. For a specific material we want to add 1 day time period for processing. Then I will see either the PGI date to be 6/25 or the Material available is 6/25 , what ever is possible.

Is this possible with a user exit ?
