creating Non Copyable PDF document in Portal

Hi,

In our portal we save and Print report to PDF. Now business requires that the some of the PDF documents cannot be copyable by the users.

Is this technically possible to do and how can achieve it.

Hello Bhat,

How is the PDF document getting generated? Is it a Smartform or from ADS? I think it is technically possible to limit what the end user can do with the actual PDF. But if you are displaying a PDF to the user on the screen, the users can always take a screenshot and print the screen, unless you remove the Print screen functionality So, how are you going to get away with this?

Hi,

Users are allowed to export the report to PDF document but we would like to remove the functionality in the PDF document that allows them to copy the content of the document.
