Asset Class

Hello

When we copy the asset class from the standard asset class....only that come.....

Why don't new entries come......what is the reason behind it......or need to do some more steps for it.........

New asset classes can only be created by way of COPY... SAP has designed it that way

Dear:

It depends on what you define in customizing for asset class screen layout. You can check this definition in SPRO....Financial Accounting....Asset accounting....Master data...Screen Layout...Define screen layout for master data. Whatever has been defined in standard classes system copies it to newly copied class.

Its depending on the Screen Layout How you defined in T.Code AO21.
