Hello,
Crystal will use what every Server/Client connection method you enable. CR itself does not have any methods to enable encryption, we just assume the work station/App server has a connection, how it communicates is up to you and the DB Server.
Ask Oracle if they support it or possibly some third party tool may be able to but CR will expect the data in clear format.
