replicate vendors defined as natural person from R3 backend system to SRM

Dear all,

i have a problem in SRM. I have to replicate some vendors defined as natural person from R3 backend system to SRM with the transaction BBPGETVD, but when i insert alla the data required, the system doesn't transfer these codes. I received a message that show: NO SUPPLIER FOUND FOR SYSTEM P01CLNT010 CLIENT 010.

is corret that the replication to SRM of vendors flagged in R/3 system as natural person is not possible?

Thank to all.

Hi Claudia,

In very early versions of SRM it was possible to replicate natural

persons as vendors to SRM. At the latest, after release of SRM 5 there

was some changes how vendors and their addresses are treated in SRM.

For example email address of the supplier become mandatory on SRM

side. Now since natural persons and their addresses are handled

little differently in the backend, this could cause inconsistent

data if such a person is replicated to SRM as vendor. This is why

the replication of natural persons was not supported since back from

2006 (please refer to note 916557 also) in the standard SRM design.

We have a Pilot Note that enables the replication of

natural persons from the backend with modification of the standard

code and it is not delivered in any support package.

There are some restrictions however by using this pilot note. Issues

appearing by the replication of natural persons for example regarding

address data will not be supported in this case. Also you have to

ensure that each business partner created for a natural person in SRM

is consistent in his data. Meaning, after replicating such a BP you

need to go to transaction BBPMAININT and verify respectively complete

the data of the BP.

Also after each SP upgrade you need to verify the note implementation,

since it will not be included in any SP.

If you are interested in using this Pilot Note you will need to open a message

to make this available to you. Please be aware though that it is a modification

of the standard.

Kind Regards,

Edel.
