How to capture number of hours worked from CATS

Hi experts,

We are in assignment/work of calculation of salary by number of working hours in the particular month.

Our employees put their efforts(number of hours) in the CATS through ESS portal.

How we capture the number of hours worked by an employee in the particular month.

Kindly give an idea to move further.

Hi

The data captured in CATS is transfered to various target systems from where the time is taken for various functionalities to perform an action.

If you want attendance than the Target system is HR and so the data flows to HR and from there you can capture the number of working hours for your calculation.

Config needs to be done accordingly.

Sairam,

Try using Transaction Code CADO. That's an o at the end, not a zero. That TCode displays all absences and attendances for an employee over a time period you specify. SAP removed it from the navigation tree (that's presented to users) a few years ago.

Hi Satya,

After you capture the employee working time in CATS against each attendence type after approval you can transfer the same to HR by using the transaction code CAT6.

Hope this will solve your query
