Hi friends

Our client wants to set operation wise priority. In our case there is only one operation in that worcenter.

Routing master data is set like that. we had given overlapping-. continous prodction and Minahead qty 1 PC.

Iif there are more production orders using same workcenter, now he want set capacity utilisation like this.

WC1 WC2 WC3

Order A 40% 50%

Order B 30% 40%

Order C 40% 60% 50%

After this system has to schedule the orders/operations accordingly ..

This is for schedulig Planning purpose as per the demand.

we are using MTS and in MRP lead time scheduling.

One more thing

If there are three orders starting on same date using same workcenter

when we are checking the orders system has scheduled for three orders -operations staring on same time

Order A Operation 0010 WC1- start 7:00 hrs

Order B Operation 0010 WC1 start 7:00 hrs

Order C Operation 0010 WC1 start 7:00 hrs

If i am checking capacity icon system has given available capacity for this workcenter

How come all orders start at same time even capacities are available.

Regards,

Srihari,

How come all orders start at same time even capacities are available.

You have only mentioned MRP. MRP is not intended to schedule orders according to capacity, it only plans for making materials available at the required times. In order to plan for capacity consumption, you need to carry out capacity planning.

To answer your question, it is sometimes desirable to have many orders start at the same time in a specific work center, even after capacity planning has been done. This is dependent upon the client's business requirements and the structure of his manufacturing operations.

If you have never implemented capacity management before, I suggest that you speak to a senior PP consultant on your team, who should be able to show you how to get basic CRP set up and running.

Hi

Already basic set up was done.

when we are created the orders using co01 forward scheduling start date same for different products .

If 2 orders are using same workcenter in operation 0010.Then for the orders start date and time given as 7:00 hrs.

In Order-Operaton tab.

How its possible?

Srihari,

There is no inherent limitation in creation of a Production order that would prevent scheduled order operations from starting on the same date/time. Scheduling an order only calculates the capacity requirements. From the sound of it, you haven't dispatched the order.

You will find the answer to your question in the Planning table. You have been looking at the planning table, right?

Before you answer again, please read through the entire link I mentioned earlier. Actually, you should look through the CRP help section at

If you run into problems with the subject matter in the links, then cite the specific question you have.
