How to delete the vlauemapping group in quality system

Hi,

I have done value mapping in developement system and tarnsported the same in quality. Now a few of the values are not required and deleted the same in developement and re-transporeted the same to quality, but i see that the deleted entries are still being reflected in quality.

Could anyone help me in this regard.

Hi Swathi,

I would always suggest you to delete the objects in DEV and then transport those to QAS so that your object through out your landscape would be consistant. If you go and delete in QA then it may lead to conflicts/inconsistancies.

Maintain in such a way that which ever goes to QA would be through transport .....

Hi,

Once you have deleted the values in Dev, you need to send the deleted values in a transport up to quality for the deletion to reflect there.

When you are creating a transport in Dev, you have an option - 'Include deleted values'. Keep this check box chequed. Then you can see the deleted groups in your transport list.

Select these and send the transport upto quality.
