Hi,
We have a GRC 5.3 system. This is a java-only system. On logging into the page
http://<host>:<port>/monitoring/ComponentInfo
the following error is appearing
403 Forbidden
SAP J2EE Engine/7.00
You are not authorized to view the requested resource.
Details: No details available
There was an update given in an SAP Note (forgot the number) to use the following link
http://<host>:<port>/sap/monitoring/ComponentInfo
Even this is throwing the same error.
System is GRC 5.3 based on NW 7.0 and SP21. I could not find anymore information in the default trace file other than the one appearing in the error page.
Please help me in solving this issue.
Thanks & Regards,
Ragav
Dear All,
The issue is solved after assigning the user to the group "Administrators". Thanks for helping me out.
@Sunny : I got the hint after checking your update regarding checking the roles/groups assigned to the user.

Ragav

Dear Sunny,
I was already mentioning about this SAP Note. I had tried and used the URL http://<host>:<port>/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo .
I've created a user in java level and have assigned all the administrator authorizations to that user. Still the same error is occuring when i access the above mentioned link.

Ragav

Hi Henk,
The user has all the administrator authorizations assigned to it.

Hi,
This is bug in the system. Instead of using link (http://<host>:<port>/monitoring/ComponentInfo ) which comes when you click on System Information, use below URL:
http://<host>:<port>/sap/monitoring/ComponentInfo.
This problem is also documented in the SAP Note 1291202 - SystemInfo application does not open
Thanks
Sunny
Dear Henk,
I've logged onto the system using administrator user only. This user has all the admin rights in the system.

Ragav

Hi Ragav,
This is not a technical issue or a problem with the URL used. It's simply saying that the user, with which you logon to that page, doesn't have the appropriate authorizations.
Use a Java Administrator user to logon to the page and it will display.
Kind regards,
Henk.
