In Flexible Performance Management EhP4, I try to cascade goals as a Talent Management Specialist (TMS). When I create a goal and try to cascade that newly created goal, all other goals that were created early are also getting cascaded. I do not want this (these goals might created by others) and I want only those goals created by me to be cascaded to my appraisal document. How to avoid this?
Hi -
So if i understand this correctly, you are trying to cascade goals onto your own document?
You can use this service to maintain and cascade corporate goals and core values to selected organizational units. Once a goal and/or value gets cascaded, it is available in the corresponding employees performance management documents. This application is designed to allow for Corporate Goals, Corporate Values, and/or Team Goals.
The tool is not to be used to cascade on to your own document. Its supposed to be used to cascade down to a wider audience (by Org for Corp Goals and Direct reports for Team Goals).
Once a set of goals is cascaded to a group, the only way to remove them is to make them obsolete, you cannot change them.
Hope this helps.

Hi -
I'm not sure you are using the cascade application corretly. In order to cascade a goal, you have to highlight the goal and cascade it again.
Are you cascading at the org unit level? Or directly on the employee?
You are saying that goals that were previously cascaded to other employees, are automatically appearing as a cascaded goal on the new employee's document? Is it automatically inheriting the goals because they sit in the same Org Unit????
