Changing UOM and activity in routing

Dear All,

we have defined an activity compressed air with uom FT3 in routing. Compressor are runned on electricity. The power bill is being received for kwh. Now the management wants to change the uom to kwh and subsequently the quantity also.

Now the problem is there are approx. 5000 FG materials where the change is required to be done.

Please give suggestions how to achieve this.

I understand that in CUNI we can develop the conversion factor from FT3 to KWH. Any other workaround available.

Dear Sir,

USed the transaction MM17,(Mass maintainance ) .Dont select the variant name, selct the "Unit of maeasure for material".Excute it,

Now select the trange of the material for which you want to change theunits of measurement.

Hi,

Try with CEWB (Engineering Workbench) where you need to select Working Area SAP_OPERATION Focus: Operation where you will get Operations Overview screen in mass.

Can you explain step by step procedure how to make the change for all the materials.
