Downtime for applying ECC - HCM Support patch Stacks

Hi,

Can some one advice as how much time it takes to apply ECC 6.0 - HCM system from SPS 18 to SPS 19 .

HR Patch 61 to 65 ..,

Just ball park., We are running in NT/SQL 2008 with Dual Quad CPU -4 AND MEM 32 GB , 4 APPS , CI and DB seperate.

Since SP updates are mostly I/O based it's impossible to tell.

You certainly have a test environment - why not implement them there and see how long it takes? Make use of parallelism in SPAM to speed up.

Hi,

We have to go through Change management board so they are asking us to find out from people who have implemented

SPS 18 - SPS 19 patches to get downtime.,

We did say that unless we implement in Test it is difficult to estimate downtime. But we are trying to make educated guess.
