Hi,
We are using the standard replication program RHALEINI (Transaction
PFAL) to replicate our entire HR organisation structure. The process we
use to perform our replication is outlined below. We use the report
with 3 diferent variants.
1.) The first variant is used for object type O in update mode after
the initial replication in insert mode.
2.) The second variant is used for object type S in update mode after
the initial replication in insert mode.
3.) The third variant is for object type P in insert mode after the
initial replication in insert mode.
We use message type HRMD_ABA with all the right filters being set.
(Infotype 1000, 1001, subtypes and so on).
The problem that we face is that when these batch programs run on a
nightly basis, for some reason some of the users are not created as an
EBP user. We only see the position and SU01 user in the organisation
structure. The immediate fix is replication of object type P in insert
mode and that particular user is fixed.
The question is why does the standard program break the user??
Thanks,
Sundeep
Hi Sundeep,
You can correct users or business partners in the employee role who were created incorrectly in a EBP system. For this, you must first adjust the organizational units so that they have a consistent status. Make sure that all organizational units have an address. Then you must create associated business partners for all relevant organizational units. Use the CRM_COM_ORGMAN_BUPA_INTEGRATE report for this step. Once the organizational units have a consistent status you can recreate the users or business partners in the employee role.
For this, you must redistribute the relevant employees. Call the PFAL transaction in the source system. In the selection screen, select the 'P' object type and all relevant employees as object ID. Then distribute the employees in initial mode in the target system. By processing the IDocs in the target system, the users or business partners in the employee role are now created correctly
