Change Number and Revision Level updates

Hi,

I have a requirement to develop something to enhance the action of updating Change Number and Revision Level of materials in mass.

For that, I have to bring up the current information from materials (CN. and Rev.Level) and allow its changes.

So, I'd like to know if someone here has experienced something similar and know how MM02 suggests the next Rev.Level (when I hit the Create Revision Level button, if the material has level A, the pop up suggests the B, and so on) and how could it be updated (any function, bapi, etc)

Also, how Change Number can be updated as well at the same time (any funtion, bapi).

I tried REVISION_LEVEL_POST function but it doesn't let me update the Change Number.
