Organizational Table mismatch

Former Member

All,

System : HR system : ECC 6.0

I have the table USORG different when I compare DEV and TEST environments.

DEV has more entries and TEST environment has lesser entries.

As a result the role transported show the authorizations and user tab yellow.

Question:

1. Can I transport the table alone.

2. What will the effect on existing roles in the target system after I import the table.

2. Other than SM30 is there a tool to transport.

Thanks

Vidyar

Hi

1. No. If you want to create the new org levels you need to run program PFCG_ORGFIELD_CREATE in each system (so Test & Prod)

2. If you run the program, it will tell you what roles need to be adjusted after the conversion has run. It will update the roles and tell you which ones need manual review. Whenever I do this I schedule a full transport of roles from dev & import into the target systems to ensure all is aligned

3. As above, do not transport.

Alex,

Thank you for the guidance,

Still working on this, will update you when I go over the process after all approvals.

Thanks
