Delete unused DIM entries via process chains?

does anybody know a way how unused dimension table entries can be deleted regulary with process chains?

I think you need to figure out which fm or method will be called for the same via rsrv and create your own abap for it.

Hi, Hope you don't mind that I reopen this old thread. I was checking for RSDRD_DIM_REMOVE_UNUSED (mentioned in note 446706), but this program doesn't exist in our BW 7.01 installation. Are you aware of a new program to delete obsolete DimIds without having to delete the content of the cube ?

this is not a report program . it is a function module.

hi,

In the process chain variant "complete deletion of Data target contents" there is a checkbox below to delete the dimension table as well. This option is available only in full deletion and not in delete overlapping request.
