Migrating the masterdata from legacy systems to SAP CRM

Hi Experts,

Can any one explain me what are the processes/tools do we use for migrating the masterdata from legacy systems to SAP CRM.

Say if a client is implementign a standalone CRM solution with out R3 as backend and want to migrate the master data from Legacy to CRM.how can this be achieved.

Hi Ravi,

There are couple of tools provided by SAP for Legacy data migration to SAP CRM.

Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW),

Master Data Manager (MDM)

ABAP

It depends on your specific requirements that which one of these will suit you depending on the size of the data, number of fields etc.
