Existing BOMs updated within Price list changes

Forum,

If a change is made to price for an item associated with a particular price list, it doesn't seem to update existing BOMs. Instead it looks like these changes would need to be made manually to each BOM. Which isn't acceptable as in most cases a company can have in excess of a couple of thousand BOMs on their system.

Does anyone have any ideas or share this concern?

Regards,

Juan

Hi Juan,

I support this DRQ. At least there is Global Change button available to refresh all prices on BOM form.

Thanks,

Gordon,

To further elaborate. If you have an item on a BOM which has it's 'Unit Price' updated. This affects the item's price in Item Master Data as well as the price list associated but not on the existing BOM. Which global change button are you referring to?

Hi Juan,

It is a DRQ for SAP, They should provide one button to update prices.

post your thread in /community [original link is broken] forum for SAP to take this in acount for future versions.

For now , you have to update BOM prices manually.

Thanks,

Thanks for the response. I will look to note it in there. This is a really weak area and not one that's easy for folk to accept.

Juan.
