Dear All
I am getting a strange message while transporting 0MAT_PLANT_ATTR transfer structure
.1 Earlier 0MAT_PLANT_ATTR data flow was there in production
2. Added 5 fields in data source and same is added in 0MAT_PLANT infoobject.
3. Transfer structure is modified and transported to production but new transfer rule mapping( for 5 fields) is not visible.
Error message in transport - Mapping between data source 0MAT_PLANT_ATTR and source system MILPRD800 is inconsistent
4. To check whether prob with R/3 side extraction, i execute infopackage and load data till SPA and its fine.
To resolve this
1. Deleted transfer rule and send it to production
2. Created new transfer strcuture/rule and sent to productuon, not visible because of transport error
3. Got the same erro message in transport
Error message in transport - Mapping between data source 0MAT_PLANT_ATTR and source system MILPRD800 is inconsistent
Please suggest me what may be the reason......
Thanks
Kamal
After changing the datasource in R/3, did you replicate the datasource in BW?
Even in transporting, you need to replicate the datasources before importing BW transports.

Hi
Check whether you transported as per the following sequence.................Its like a thumb rule
1. Base Objects -
a. Info Area
b. Info object catalogs
c. Info Objects
2. Info Providers u2013
a. Info Cubes
b. Multi Providers
c. Info Sets
d. Data Store Objects
e. Info Cube Aggregates
3. Transfer Rules u2013
a. Application Components
b. Communication Structure
c. Data Source replica
d. Info Packages
e. Transfer Rules
f. Transformations
g. Info Source Transaction data
h. Transfer Structure
i. Data sources (Active version)
j. Routines & BW Formulas used in the Transfer routines
k. Extract Structures
l. (Note) If the transfer structures and related objects are being transferred without preceding
Base Objects transport (e.g. while fixing an error) it is safer to transport the related Info
Objects as well.
4. Update Rules u2013
a. Update rules
b. Routines and formulas used in Update rules
c. DTPs
Hope this helps......
Regards,
Suman
