HI,

The above message is coming first time, earlier we was not get such issue.

While doing VA01 we are getting the above message, I think its related Profit Center in Material Master and related derivation in PA.

All its coming after ECC Stack Upgrade 17->18.

Please reply with suitable solution, user not able to create Sales Orders.

Hi,

Was note 1104296 applied in your system during the upgrade ?

If so, please also implement the note 1166036, regenerate the operating concern (KEA0) and then try again

Hi Wanman Shirwaicar,

It's not the problem of OP concern generation. PC is deriving. And the thing is sales order header Cost center PC is over writting the Material PC in item level. We want PC at item level is same as material master PC.

Hi,

At time of sales order the profit center can be set by

1. CO account assignment (strongest option)

2. Manual entry

3. PCA substitution

4. Material / plant (weakest option)

So if your sales order item has an account assignment to cost center then the PC of that cost center gets first preference.

Maybe there was some modification in your earlier version which was overwritten by the upgrade ?

As per you mail, where can we fix this in configuration. Mean sales order level where to configure to capture/derive PC from Material.
