Posting Period in MIRO

Hi All,

In our PRD system our FI period is opened from 01/2012 (Apr'2011) to 03/2012 (Jun'2011) and MM period is opened for only 03/2012 (Jun'2011) for Company code 4100. But when we try to post a MIRO in May'2011 it is showing a message "Allowed Posting Periods : 03 2012 / 12 2011". Our query is why it is showing 12 2011.

In transaction MMRV Current period maintained is 03 2012 and last period in previous year is 12 2011.We are trying to post the miro with posting date as 31.05.2011.

Please advice.

Just Check it out in OMSY t.code.

as per my concern currnet Period Should be 03/2011 and Previous Period Should be 02/2011.

because Standard SAP is not given a authorization to post a document before the Previous Period, that has to be current Period or Previous Period.

Hi,

As per my understanding,

the current period should be 03 2011

Previous Period should be 02 2011

& Posting Period in last year should be 12 2010

Please check the same.
