Which event will be triggred wehn clicking on search help Popup

hello,

i have afield for personnel number, after clicking on F4 seach help i get a popup with all PERNR.

i need to know which event will be triggred after clicking on OK button of the popup when shoosing a pernr.

I guess WDDOMODIFYVIEW gets triggered..Please test the same

You cannot capture the ok event from the value help screen (DDIC value help ). If you wish to get the control over it then you need to rely on OVS or freely programmed search help.

Hello Scafandri,

As Baskaran mentioned you cant capture the 'Ok' event of the popup. But on clicking 'Ok' button in the popup, the WDBeforeNavigation method of Component Controller will be called.

when you click on f4 button then correponding event will trigger ( if it is ovs help, then ovs event will trigger ). I dont think no event will trigger when you click on ok button.

when you click on f4 button corresponding search help event will trigger.

Lets wait for experts replies, if i am wrong.

am not using here OVS, the dataelemet is p0002-pernr and assigned to dectionary help, this is it
