Hi,
We've recently installed BOE XI 3.1 sp3 and we want now to use Live Office.
I installed the product on my computer and tried to configure it but I have an error "Unable to connect to the remote server"
My configuration :
User name : Administrator
Password
System : GVAS01903011 (CMS where BO is installed)
Web Service URL : http://GVAS01903010:6400/dswsbobje/services/session
(http server)
Authentification : !!! the drop down list is locked (no value). I can't select a value.
I also thought the problem was maybe my MS Office version : we still use Office XP (Excel 2002).
Last question : I saw on the documentation reference to a reverse proxy. Do I have to configure a reverse proxy to use Live Office ?

Hi,
First thing check your web-service url port is correct ? Normally it is 8000 or 8080. so check your port.
Second Authentication is disabled in live office document.It is generally disabled when you click on the new CR,Webi or universe query option.You can change authentication option by below steps.
1)Open Live Office Sheet.
2) Go to Application options in the Live Office tab.
3) Click on the Enterprise tab and check Authentication tab and check values are coming or not.
