Budget in PM

Hi,

The Mechanical department should not consume more than one lakh this fiscal year

This includes Goods issue for order, internal processing costs and External processing costs (PO, Services Entry)

Which budget scenario to apply ?

you can create separate cost center for mechanical and do the cost center budget planning . But you need to use some user exit to check the budget and actual

For Goods issue, External PR , Goods receipt are linked to Order, G/l account only.

How it will be accounted in Cost center ?

Yes , but after settling to cost center you can find the actual and compare. so all the previous order should be settled. Also consult with your technical team on this

Settlement to Cost center must be done.

In which tcode the budget (One lakh) to be entered for cost center ?

How tolerance to be set for this to give error message in Order if the budget is exhausted or consumed ?

hi

you can set the budget in KPZ2 and you can find the table to find the combination of order and settlement receiver cost center ,hence you can compare the same

You can also use the Fund center and commitment item functionality.
