Extract data from Planning Area to BW Infocube

Hi,

I am new to APO BW, I am working on SCM BW Side, My question is Extract data from Planning Area to BW Infocube. Forecast result is possible to take backup to SCM BW infocube or External BW infocube System..?.., I created a generic datasource for Planning area, These datasource replicate in SCM BW Side or External BW SIide?..please guide me.

Hi Nandish,

Which version of SCM you are using? if you are into SCM 7.0

By executing the T.code:/SAPAPO/SDP_EXTR,

1. you can directly generate the datasource on the Planning area

2. you can also find one button on top right side, which generates backcube directly with the P.A structure

you have to do the DTP process and schedule the data into the cube accordingly.

If you want to execute the data into stand alone BW system

1. Do the necessary RFC settings between the BW and APO system ( take basis team help)

2. replicate the data source

3.create transforamtions and DTP

4.create cube and load the forecast data

The above extractors mentioned you can use in RSA1 transaction, these are the standard extractors in which BW person can help you.

Hi Nandish,

You can use the transaction /sapapo/sdp_extr to create and also replicate datasources. All datasources starting with 9A will be APO relevant. Then you can follow the process from step 3 in the link
