Change in the hiring date for an employee who was uploaded as System upload

Dear All,

Issue -

Change in the hiring date for an employee who was uploaded as System upload before Go live.

Employees who was uploaded before go live as system upload.....his hiring date needs to be changed.

Well, I tried using PA41 (change entry/leaving date), but get a error :

Personnel number was aleady accounted. Do not change entry date

How can we go about this.....please help..

Hi,

We can use PA41 for PERNR if the Payroll was not run.

But as per you question, payroll was already run for 2 years.

you can follow the below process

Need to create 2 Actions

A) Wrong Hire Date Action with Employeement Status 0

B) Change in Hire Date Action with Employeement Status 3

First you have to run the Action 'A' first without changing any dates

2nd you have to run the Action 'B' with the correct Hire Date.

Delete the payroll results and Change the Retroactive date and accordingly you can change the date.

The Payroll results cannot be deleted as the payroll has been accounted for 2 years.

Hi Poornima,

Try with out deleting the Payroll result. This will work only if you are trying to change the hiring date which is before the go live date and there is no payroll result before the go live date.

You have to first clear the entries in the Payroll status infotype through PU03. Then reset the control record earliest retro active accounting date to a date before your new hiring date. Then choose the correct action type (Initial hirng ) in PA41 transaction.Change the hiring date and then keep the dates in payroll status infotype and control record back to orioginal value.

Hi,

In 2010 there was a SAP note which was released for changing the Hiring action date of an employee after payroll run. I am not able to find that note, you can rasie a OSS for that or search on service.sap

Roughly i remember there were three conditions,

1. Change after the hiring date

2. Change before the hiring date

3. Change after the payroll run

There were 2 actions which were created nd based on that it was carried out. Will try to find the note & let u knw.

Hi..

You can deleted the last payroll results by PU01(as error speaks that already been accounted)

Be ensure that the accounted details are needed for future.

Later u can use Pa41 for change in entery date.
