Hello All,
Could anyone explain me about 'slow movers'? i also want to know how data in it like (order requisition , purchase requisition etc ) are reconciled with the source system.
regards
Vijay
Hi Vijay,
Are you referring to slow-moving inventory? The materials which are consumed in very low quantities (below certain benchmark) over a period of time is referred to as slow-moving ones. The materials which are not consumed at all makes up what is called the dead stock.
Check out the if following t-codes are helpful:
MC46 - Slow-Moving Items
MC50 - Dead Stock
For reconciling purchase data:
Match the BW data with data in transaction ME23N in the ECC system. You can get both Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order details in this transaction.
Please take the help of an SAP MM Consultant if you got access to one.
Thanks,
Sarath

Hi,
I doubt if there anything standard 'Slow Movers' definition. Can you give more details or specifics?
Slow movers could be anything slow moving. Specially stock that is held in inventory for long time and is slow moving. Because we have gap in Stock in hand and Demand.
