WM Cross Docking

Hi,

i want to ask about cross docking. anyone can explain to me how to config cross docking in WM ? because ii have searched in about cross docking configuration, in this site :

it said to "Maintained warehouse level settings in Customizing for Logistics Execution ® Cross-Docking ® Maintain Warehouse Level Settings". But when i enter to SPRO, i find option Cross Docking, but i never found it.

Can anyone help me please ?? Thanks before for your advice.

SAP help is wrong.

If you know that cross docking is related to WM and you take some time to search it's not impossible to find the righ path on your own.

Please open customizing node SPRO > Logitics Execution > Warehouse Management you will see "Cross Docking".

I have searched in LE -> WM -> Cross Docking, but still not found. Is it need to active some package ?? But what's package ?

Yes, it has to be activated.

SPRO > Activate Business Functions (transaction: SFW5).

Here you have to activate EA-SCM.

You can find official configuration guide - Google + 'SAP W71".

(This is also not mentioned in SAP online help...)

W71 is a BPP for executing Opprotunistic Cross Docking and, quite frankly, I found it makes no sense at all. It has a step to create an Outbound Delivery using MB1A - VL10B is usually used to ccreate and Outbound Delivery. MB1A just creates a Goods Issiue. The same applies the the step for creating an Inbound Delivery - MB1C??? That creates a Goods Receipt - not a Delivery.

Even still, I have run into a problem allowing the Goods Receipt of an Inbounde Delivery prior to confirming the WM Transfer Order. The steps in the config doc show where it should be set, but it is in the Handling Units section of the IMG. The documentation implies this should work for non-HU receipts as well. I keep getting the error that the GR cannot be completed because the WM TO is not complete.

I'm still looking for an answer to this.
