Shipment Output

All,

I am trying to setup a shipment EDI output which will send IDOC to the warehouse that shipment is coming out from. Seems like in shipment it only looks for Sold-to party or forwarding agent. I tired setting up the warehouse as Vendor and then created condition record for the output as Vendor but in the shipment document it still looks for sold-to, ship-to or forwarding agent.

Is it even possible to setup EDI Shipment output for Vendor?

Hi,

Go to NACE

select application V7 - Transportation and click on output types

then select your output and double click on partner function

then put medium as EDI and partner function as VN-Vendor

Then maintain condition record for output and process.

Yea, i already have the output setup with Vendor Partner function and condition records are also setup by VN partner function. Yet when i try to trigger this output in the shipment it give me a pop-up to select the partner functions and all its giving me is Sold-to party, Forwarding Agent and ship-to party. Vendor as partner function is still not coming up.
