Dear All,
Our client wants to install SAP database and terminal server on the same server.
That means, they will use one virtual server and install SAP database on it. Then that server will also be a terminal server. 10 SAP user will connect to that server and use SAP from there.
We have no experience with virtual server. Can anybody let me know if this is a good idea or we should suggest them use 2 servers, one is SAP database the other is terminal server?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Yuka
Hi Jin
if you have remote connections, through Internet, you should use two server to increase the security.
I think it is very dangerous to expose your database to Internet.
I installed 8.8 and 8.81 SAP versions in virtual server succesfully.
Kind regards
Agustín
