Hi Experts,
We have problem with Leave Request duration filed. We have two types of leave. One allows to enter duration (hours or 1/2 day) and second configured for full day. Both leave types available on ESS through leave request.
When employee selects leave type e.g. Vacation which allows to enter duration in hours. Employee entered 4 hours. Now employee changed mind and just selected another leave type e.g. Sick Day. Employee haven't removed duration. Now this leave type (Sick Day) can be availed full day only, so when employee try to submit leave request they get following message " Attendance/absence type 2001 requires minimum of 1 calendar days".
I have tried to find out any SAP NOTE for duration hours refresh after changing leave type. We are sure, this duration filed causing problem as it's not getting refreshed when we change the leave type without submitting request.
I would appreciate your immediate response on this.
Regards,
Ashish
Ensure the note 1238028 and 1474922 is implemented in your system
Also check if you have done any modification in the system
Also check your customisation in the view V_PTARQ_TPROCESS
Record Partial-Day Absences in.
please ensure you have displayed the clock times
If clock time fields were open as we have provided in the standard, you
as well change the time and pressed review and everything would have
been fine.
In case you dont want to add the time fields in the front end , then you
can acheive the same by clearing the time fields in the back end
function module PT_ARQ_REQUEST_CHECK.
Kindly check any modification which you have done with the time fields.
Depeding on your requirement you can decide how to use
PT_ARQ_REQUEST_CHECK ie hours field or the clock times.
That means you need to clear the time fields which are derived
from the work schedule and keep it empty since these fields
are hidden in your front end and no option for the pernr to modify
or correct the times.
