Could someone please tell me where SAP B1 actually resides? I know that the MSSQL DB and SAP B1 are installed on a server that is then accessed by local machines.
But do the local machines accessing the SAP B1 server have to have some sort of SAP B1 interface application installed on them?
Hi Henry.....
Its applications folder goes to C\Program\SAP\SA Business One where you find the various components installed.
Complete components found in server and client related components you can find in Client PC.....

Hi,
B1 is a fat client. Server only holds the database. All business logic is reside in client. You must have a client install to use SAP program. However, if you want to develop your own logic, you can bypass B1 client and use DI API to develop your own.
Thanks,
Gordon
