Minum RAM for Netweaver 7.3 Java stack

How much of RAM, minimum is required for Installation of NetWeaver 7.3, only Java stack, but inclusive of all BI-DI-ESR-EP-Core components?

Hi friends,

I did go through the installation guide it says 6 GB (considering ABAP+JAVA). During installation we have some called instance RAM; this was actually my concern. Anyways I went ahead with 6 GB.

I am closing this thread, before that if you guide me to two more doubts:

1. What exactly the instance RAM stands for ?

2. Please direct me to any post-installation documentation for NetWeaver 7.3 (only JAVA).

PS: The installation was a smooth process, but requires much more many imputs compared to any other NetWeaver installation.

Hi,

For good performance, RAM should be between 4-8GB. I would suggest 8GB.
