how to contact a person on SDN?

Once upon a time i made a thread in the ABAP forums, which i revisited again some time ago.

I read the proposal to cooperation on a certain subject from a SDN member.

My question now is: how do i contact him/her? didnt see any possibilities to send a private message or something like that.

Tho i hardly believe moderators will like it if i just create a thread for such a pupose.

any ideas?

There is no internal message system in the site. The only way you can contact a person who has posted something is by email. That is only possible if they elected to make their email address visible. You can request they do this by replying to their post, but it is entirely up to them to decide if they want to comply.

Most of the times contact details are available in the Business card, through which you can contact a specific member in SDN.

If the details are not updated then the only option is to post your query as a new thread and expect the solution from other members.
