Try to do this from start date of a period and don't try to do in mid of period. Also probably you need to chnage the payroll area, But the main thing is change in pay scale structure in this case. Also check the impact of retro from houly to monthly.

Hi Praveen/experts,

Thanks for the help.

We want to change payscale group and payscale level for Finland employees.

At present we want to change the paystructure as per hourly rate.

What could be the impacts if we change Payscale group and payscale level from Monthly to hourly rate.

What are other changes we need to do for smooth function after changing the payscale group and payscale level from monthly to Hourly.

What are all the new configurations, we need to incorporate new payscale group and level.

Kindly advice.

Regards,

Sairam.

You make sure that the pay scale structure for hourly rates are configured properly. other than that may be you need to assign a new payroll area as i said earlier. Other than that check for retro impact. I feel no other impact.

Just a suggestion that instead of changing infotype 8 directly, process it through a action type. Also try to make these changes from the 1st day of period just as precaution.
