Hello,

I have created one internal order and set up the following

1. investment profile: 0001

2. Asset class for equipment

3. Capitalization date: 2011.10.1

4. Requested cost center

I also entered planned data for internal order.

when I tried depreciation simulation,

system poped up a message AB033 -- CO account assignment is missing in depreciation posting rules.

Please tell me what might cause the problem.

Thanks a lot!

Hi

Check AO90 - have you specified GL for Interest calculation (at the end of the screen)

Hi Ajay,

Thanks for your reply.

The interest is not calculated here.

The account is not set up in AO90,

I de-select interest related selection when I run depreciation simulation.

Will the setting affect the execution of depreciation simulation?

I have found out what was missed in the configuration.

The setting in is Investment management > Internal Orders as Investment Measures > Planning and Budgeting > Statistical Budget Monitoring > Additional Account Assignment Objects from Asset Postings > Specify Account Assignment Types for Account Assignment Objects

Depreciation simulation is working after I have finshed the above mentioned configuration.

I was writing it down in case someone needs it.

Check the Posting Rules in 0AYR T.code for Cost-accounting depreciation (20) and also check for Book Dep.area

Hi,

I have asked FI consultant to create depreciation area 20 for cost accounting,

but the problem is not solved.

Can you tell me what to check in depreciation area?

Thanks a lot!
