Dear Friends

In case of roaster, horizontal and vertical are Reservation Types, if we want to assign both to the same roaster, is it possible, I am trying but didnu2019t find such option.

For the recruitment if the person recruited is SC/ST/BC with Physically challenged, where and how to maintain this.

Hi Kiran,

In this case, you can not maintain it in customizing.

Once you have maintained the category in the vertical and horizontal reservation types, then it is at infotype level to capture specific information for employee.

You can maintain this information in IT1071 for employee's reservation category along with the reservation percentage. IT0004 captures if the employee is physically challenged and the percemtage for the physical challenge. After maintaining the ITs the employee can now claim for the benefits of the horizontal(physically challenegd) and vertical (SC/ST/OBC) reservation.

Now while you assign the employee to a roster point, assign him to a roster point of horizontal roster as well as vertical reservation.
