Mass Update In Routing

Hi Guruji,

When i am using transaction CA85n for mass update in routing system is showing that x number of records are updated, but when i see the records they are not updated. Kindly advise the correct procedure to update records.

Dear Sandip,

CA85N is for mass change work center in the task list.

Ensure correct input parameters for the same and check first only for one material task list and then proceed.

Thanks for the reply.

I am getting the results with T-code CA85.

When i am using CA85N, i am entering the data in

1) selection criteria tab then ,

2) new values tab then,

3) i execute it (f8)

4) i get a list screen where i select the task list in whicn work center has to re replaced with new work center

5) After selecting the desired task list i press button Mass Change.

6) System gives a message " All data records (1) were changed successfully".

7) When i check the task list the same is not updated.

I am unable to locate my mistake, system is also not showing error message.

Kindly advise.

Hi Sandip,

In CA85N , on new values TAB, wehn you enter new work center make sure you mark COPY /check box as selected.

Then try updating, you will immediately see the results updated on mass change in same MASS CHANGE WORK CENTER S CREEN.

I tried it by marking the COPY CHECK BOX as SELECTED still i am not getting desired result.

SYSTEM MSG "All data records (1) were changed successfully".

But the changes are not visible in task list.

Hi Sandip,

Try with Another tasklist or in another client.. It works for me with the same settings.

I have this problem too in other system (ECC 6.0) - CA85N is showing that x number of records are updated, but task list isn't changed. CA85 is working correct
