Enhancements on BW Standard Data Sources

Hi Experts

I am new to BI Enhancements... As of now I am using only BI/BW standard Data Sources for report generating.

Can any one tell me some business Seniors where we are enhancing Standard Business Contents Data Sources... and me examples

Thanks for you reply.

I know how Enhance Data Source step by step...

Now I Need. Couple of real time scenario with fields name which added to the standard Data Sources. Like I will give you one examples.

Example1: You have to append the standard business content data source 2LIS_11_VAITM with a field MTART (

Material Type ) from MARA table.

Please provide me similar kind of real time scenarios which required adding fields to Standard Content Data Sources.

i have a similar problem may be you could help.

My scenario is to display the following data on the delivery level 2LIS_12_VCITM:

0DELIV_NUMB

0SHIP_COND

The follwoing objects are not in the 2LIS_12_VCITM extractor. How could i enhance 2LIS_12_VCITM extractor with the below fields?

0SALESORG

0DLV_PRIO from VBAP-->LPRIO

0MAT_SALES

0PO_NUMBER from

0DOC_TYPE

0MATL_CAT

0REQU_QTY originally from 2LIS_11_V_SSL Table:VBEP, Field:WMENG

0CONF_DATE originally from 2LIS_11_V_SSL Table:VBEP, Field:EDATU

0DLV_QTY originally from 2LIS_11_V_SSL Table:LIPS, Field:LFIMG
