BPC MS 7.5 Xcelsius Data Connection

Hi,

I am trying to install the EPM connector although I have installed Extended Analytics 7.5. I am not able to see the EPM connector folder or "EPM Connector.Xlx".

PLease let me know where I should look for it

Hello Bala,

Xcelsius dashboards (now called SAP Dashboard Design) on top of EPM applications only became available in Extended Analytics Analyzer 7.5 Support Package 05.

I would recommend going to the latest Support Package of Extended Analytics Analyzer 7.5 (09).

I have installed Extended analytics in the windows server am using a VM with windows 2003 and i use the same as client.

i could not find the folder.

I have installed Extended Analytics 7.5 from the download file 51036046.Zip. I guess this has the latest support package. please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi Bala,

What you installed is the base installation. You need SP09

It is located at:

SAP Service Marketplace --> Software Downloads --> Support Packages and Patches

--> A - Z Index --> Letter 'E' --> SBOP EXTENDED ANALYTICS

--> BOBJ EXTENDED ANALYTICS 7.5 --> Comprised Software Component Versions

--> BOBJ EXT ANALYT ANALYZER 7.5 --> # OS independent

Then download:

BOBJEAANALY09_0-10007773.ZIP Extended Analytics Analyzer 7.5 SP09

Hi Bala,

If you have installed EA 7.5 on your laptop, the epm connector XLX file resides here...

C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Extended Analytics\Analyzer\EPMConnector
