Hierarchy

Hi,

I am not sure transporting Hierarchy's into prodution.

Somebody please provide the steps.

Hi,

Heirarchies are loaded into each system. You dnt transport them from one system to another. You just maintain teh data load flow that it. Also, if you are creating Hierarchies with nodes/elements then also u generally create the hierarchies in all the systems, you dont transport any.

Hi Rosan,

we cannot tranport hierarchies in BW, we can maintain them in production or load them via flatfile or from ECC.

In BW you will be loading hierarchies into Prod. as an example using 0GL_ACCOUNT. you will load ATTRS, TEXTS and HIERS for GL Account. So whatever hierarchies you have in ECC Prod you should be able to load in BW for the respective InfoIObjects.
