I have configured the DIP profile and using transaction DP82 to create a quotation using sales pricing. Everything works fine - the sales price basis view reads the costs from the network activity cost plans, then I can go into the sales price view and add a percentage for profit and play around with the conditions to do a bunch of stuff.
However, we have a requirement to keep the cost rates from the activity types used on network activities, but at the same time, have the pricing engine read market rates, which could be maintained in a separate CO version, for example. I was able to use the CO version in the costing variant assigned to the network to read the market rates from the same activity types, however, this is not ideal, because I will need to keep switching between costing variants on the network header to get market price vs cost price. Has anyone encountered such a requirement, and if so, can you suggest ideas to fulfill this requirement?
